David Drez

David Drez is an attorney and partner with the firm of Wick Phillips, LLP in Fort Worth, Texas. He represents clients in Texas and across the United States in a broad range of commercial disputes, with particular experience in several significant oil and gas cases. A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, David is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, having majored in history and political science. David earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University Deadman School of Law. Following law school, he served as judicial clerk for the Honorable James T. Trimble, Jr., United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Louisiana. Before joining Wick Phillips, David spent 11 years at a large, Texas-based international law firm, where he was a partner in the firm’s Fort Worth office. David has a keen interest in history, particularly focused on World War II, and is honored by a close relative’s service in the Pacific Theater.
