Celia Dignam worked as a civilian secretary at the headquarters of the MFAA Branch of the Control Commission for Germany at Bünde in Westphalia, Germany. She transcribed notes and correspondence for the office’s Head of Section, Monuments Man Sqdr. Ldr. E. Christopher Norris. Dignam remained involved in restitution efforts until at least December 1947.
