This name is included on a list of Monuments Women compiled by Capt. Edith A. Standen during her service in postwar Germany. No full first name was provided.

 

Currently, the Foundation believes this individual to be Samuel L. Goldberg, a records clerk with the MFAA Branch of Headquarters of the U.S. Forces, European Theater (USFET) in Frankfurt-Hoechst, Germany. Goldberg assisted the office’s chief clerk, Monuments Man Sgt. James A. Reeds, with the management of field reports, and did other paperwork for Monuments Officers Lt. Cdr. George L. Stout, Maj. Bancel La Farge, and Capt. Edith A. Standen.
